The impeccable detailing that is the defining feature of these mosaics showcases the life and times of the ruling Romans in their heyday. Scenes from hunting, games, etc. from ancient history make its way into the 21st century. Popular mosaics include The Great Hunt, the Vestibule of Polyphemus, Room of Children Hunting, etc.
This segment of the villa is a covered courtyard. The peristyle displays domestic and wild animal heads, which is one of its distinguishing features. It also has a fountain in the center with a statue inside.
Situated to the north-west of the peristyle, the bath showcases a mosaic of the lady of the house entering the bath with her two children. It also presents slaves carrying the clothes and instruments used for baths during that period.
